MORAINE LAKE
Moraine Lake is located in Banff National Park. It is located 14 km from the village of Lake Louise and is located further east that the most famous lake in Alberta. Moraine Lake is situated at an altitude of 1884 meters.
The turquoise color of the lake is due to the water suspension of fine mineral particles produced by glacial erosion. Its water is turquoise and I would say even more beautiful than Lake Louise. But the decor is less enchanting. But it is worth seeing as well. And as for Lake Louise, it's best to arrive early to avoid the crowds.

Like Lake Louise, it is filled trail. However, some paths must be taken in groups of 6 when the presence of Grizzly was reported.
Interestingly, Moraine Lake has been shown in the notes of twenty Canadian dollars from 1969 to 1979.

Rent a canoe or try one of the trails in the area that range from casual walks to more strenuous hikes. Or just sit and take in the beauty of the lake.
